  hey there.. if this point has been covered before please forgive me.. i have had the principles of noahs flood used by jw's to encourage me to attend meetings recently and this has got me musing about the flood....again.. genesis states that a river flowed from eden and branched out into four rivers, two of which being the tigris and the euphrates.. heres the baffling part; if it had never rained before, how is it that rivers existed before the flood?!!?.

  a brief google search tells us that the euphrates begins its journey as snow melt and rain ( as most rivers do) in mountains in turkey.. ecc chapter 1 mentions the water cycle and describes the rivers flowing into the sea but the sea not becoming full.

  how did it work pre-flood?

  Thanks for asking. I am eternally a witness to the truth, dimensions of which continue to reveal and change. Underneath is solid ground, deeper under all the commotion on the surface. (If these words make anyone smile, that is fine, and I will smile with you)

  More important than my experience would be "one" worthwhile idea that can be shared, and leads to benefit. That's the hope!

  1. Does it mean skewed propaganda rather than news reporting?

  Noam Chomsky speaks of "manufacturing consent". News can be a long-term project, and propaganda can be imperceptible at the level of each item...perhaps! The idea is, to make and preserve a certain image of the reported subject over long periods of time. Similar to how Watchtower works!

  Nice question.

  Multiple news sources, and giving time for the story to develop tends to be better than a hasty conclusion.

  Not all news items deserve the same attention, I suppose.

  A mix of Al Jazeera, RT, CNN, France 24 seems to even some things out.
